I am issuing a challenge....

...to all of my customers- Here are the details: 1) Leave a comment here & if you are not a blogger customer, email me (jen@fabricbliss.com) your contact info as well. This is how you'll enter PART I. 2) I will randomly pick 5 comments on Monday, November 10th. 3)Said commenters will receive a grab bag of various fabric and notions from me next week. 4)These commenters will have until the end of November to create something using at least 4 inches of each piece of fabric or notions from said grab bag to create something apparel -ish- including a bag or a shirt or a dress or an apron. You can add some of your own fabric as well, but the majority needs to be mostly stuff I sent you. 5) Creaters will then email me pics of said creations and I will post them on my blog, along with a link to your webstore. You all will then be able to vote on said creations. The winning creation will win a $100 gift certificate to FabricBliss.com You can receive an additional 10 entries to the initial part of the challenge by reposting this on your blog. The Lord put on my heart a few months ago to start a design group... He even gave me the name...but I just put this whole thing on a shelf! Thinking that I really do NOT have the time for one more thing on my plate! KWIM?? Well... even though it was shelfed the thought of it just did not leave me alone... the name of the group in particualr kept popping up in my thoughts OFTEN!! So, I prayerfully pursued it!! =) We are now just over three weeks into it and we have a wonderful group of ladies that the Lord almost effortlessly placed in this group... what is our name?? I'm glad you asked... TheVine boutique!! Here are our awesome designers...

We are a "different" style of a design group... our common denominator is Jesus!! We are all Christians... we are encouraging eachother to keep our priorites in order, we pray for one another and encourage eachother in the Lord... and we all love to design!! We are really having a lot of fun already and we have barely begun!! =) Look for our first official launch in the begining of November!!

My newest design is up for auction right now... this set was a BLAST!!! Of course this one is mine... my daughter will wear it for Christmas!! =) Have a blessed weekend!!

There is NEVER a dull moment in this home!!

My oldest daughter Hope (yes, I said oldest...of four) has been waiting and waiting and waiting... NOT so patiently to lose her first tooth! She will be 6 at the end of July, and her younger (by 9 mo.) cousin whom she loves dearly lost her first tooth already... Hopey, needless to say, was crushed!!

So... to make a long story shorter we will skip ahead... Finally last weekend she DID lose her first tooth!! YAY!! We were all so excited!!! SO, we told Hopey that when she goes to bed she puts her tooth under her pillow and Mommy and Daddy will leave her a special suprise that she will wake up and find!! My husband says to me "Hon, we shouldnt do that, Faith will take Hopeys tooth", I say "No, she will fall asleep and forget about it"

Faith is our precious WILD, VERY strong willed four year old!

SO, we are all in bed... 2 AM.... Hopey enters the scene... sobbing...and I quote "Faith took my tooth" She was broken hearted!! SO... after laying there hearing how broken hearted my little girl is I decide to go and turn the light on and find that tooth!! I rolled Faith over, and there it is under her!!

...It's now 7ish am... Faith enters the scene as usual (last to sleep, first to wake every day) she climbs in bed with me as usual, I say "Faith I need to talk to you... Hopey came in my room last night crying very hard. Someone took her tooth".... I am getting this WHO would do such a thing look from her, so I KNOW she is not about to confess!!! So I say "Faith WHY did you take Hopeys tooth??" She says SOOOO dramatically "Mommy, that tooth was special to me too" I am now trying not to laugh as she continues " I want to lose my first tooth and get a special suprise too".

So... how about my four year old REALLY thought this through... she had to lay there and wait it out for Hopey to fall asleep and stay focused and awake and then go snag the tooth!!!! Did she think he who has the tooth when they fall asleep is the one that gets the suprise??? Who knows, but this little ones does these kind of things to us all the time, I could write a book on her!!! I often say 'I have four children, but Faith is almost ALL of my work" Enough said!!! =) She is either cracking us up or she is in BIG trouble! =) And we LOVE that girl to pieces!!!!!

Four little ones...FREE time???

OK, so I have four little sweeties running around... and somehow its just not all about ME right now!!! (Can you believe that)!?

I have tons of designs in my head and tons already sketched!! I always think "tomorrow I will definitely make it to my studio to work" and then the next day comes and I think the same thing!! LOL... SO, for now I work on my designs as I can... things wont always be this wild!! (And you know... I will actually MISS this wildness someday)!!!

My children are 5, almost 4, just 2, and 4 months!! My husband tells me that if we have one more they (who is they anyway?) will make me get a day care licence!! LOL!! Hes real funny isn't he! Read my me page to find out the whole scoop on my family!! =)

SO... anyway I hope you enjoy my blog!! I have several new designs in the making and two ready for photoshoot... so keep stopping in!! Lots happening here... and LOTS to come over the next couple of months!!
